Spanky died on March 24th,
   We laid him to rest on that day,
   The loss of our companion cat,
   Never forgotten since he’s gone away…

   My wife found Merlin dead today,
   While visiting my daughters home,
   His dusty gray body lied lifeless,
   Now we surely feel all alone…

   The loss of two cats within a month,
   Is so very tough to grieve,
   My little friend Merlin is at Rainbow Bridge,
   Romping with Spanky I believe…
 

   Dedicated to my little friend 9 year old Merlin, 
he was great at filling
   the gap since Spanky is gone…
